Hi friend!
I’m SO excited to explore with you!
Please use this guide to help you prepare for your session.
See you soon!
XO, Brie
What to wear/bring to the location:
- Comfortable clothes that are easy to change in and out of, preferably loose fitting
- Loose fitting underwear or no underwear
- We'll be walking or hiking to your photo destination, so please wear whatever you will feel most comfortable in, that will also prevent any discomfort or chaffing.
- Hiking in lingerie or lacy outfits, can be extremely irritating, and leave behind unwanted bumps. I recommend changing into your outfit(s) on site, if you feel comfortable doing so.
- Sunscreen
- Bugspray
- Comfortable shoes, that leave minimal markings, with low profile socks
- Water bottle and any snacks/food you might want!
- Emergency water in a BPA free container, for your car!
Mountain Session:
- Comfortable, supportive shoes (e.g. hiking boots, hiking sandals, etc)
- Wear low profile socks, to reduce sock lines
Water Session:
- Waterproof shoes, rain boots, water sandals, or any other shoes that you don’t mind getting wet/muddy
- Two plastic/waterproof bags (One bag for dry clothes. One bag for wet clothes.)
- A towel
- A dry outfit to wear home
Desert Session:
- Sunscreen (Bring it with you to reapply, as needed)
- Sunglasses
- A comfortable hat, that won't leave marks on your forehead, or mess up your hair
- Hiking shoes are recommended/encouraged
- The terrain can vary quite dramatically, hiking shoes will provide grip for slick rocks and protect you from any sneaky cacti hiding out in the sand
- Sandals that are easy to slip on, once we arrive to the location
- More water than you think you'll need, for the hike, and for the car ride home
Additional info:
- The goal is to minimize the amount of clothing lines
- Avoid any tight fitting under garments, tight clothes, or tall socks
- Bring an oversized dress, t-shirt, robe, or blanket that you can use to cover up or change under, if necessary
What to wear for your session:
- Whatever makes you feel sexy!
- Dress to your comfort level. I do the best I can to scout locations with minimal foot traffic, and plan sessions early in the morning to avoid crowds, but there is always a possibility of being seen, by a passerby. Please keep this in mind when planning your outfits.
- Choose complimentary colors for the environment that we'll be utilizing as your backdrop, that will provide contrast in your photos and help you to stand out!
- We can totally chat about this more in depth, if you need help deciding what would look good for your location and fit the vibe!
What to expect during your session:
- Outdoor boudoir is a unique experience that’s entirely its own.
- I can’t quite describe the rush of celebrating your body in nature. Gaining the personal gratification of completing this goal by showing up, moving your body, and taking up space, all while creating a work of art that’s entirely your own, is fucking magical. I'm so excited for you!
- Your safety and comfort is my top priority. Please communicate with me if you are uncomfortable at any point, or if a pose isn’t working for you.
- There is absolutely no pressure and no exceptions from me. This is a space to have fun, play, and explore!
"Leave No Trace" Policy:
- I am extremely passionate about leaving places better than I found them and preserving our beautiful planet, for future generations to enjoy.
- Confetti, glitter, balloons, lanterns, and liter are prohibited. No exceptions.
- All glitter applications must be done prior to your scheduled session time, and must be securely attached to your body.
- Please do not harm, disrupt, or remove any plants or wildlife.
- This is their home and we are visitors. I will gladly work around them.
- If you’d like to use any plants as props, please provide your own. Removal of any wildflowers or plants is prohibited.
What else can I do to help you feel prepared?
Let me know!
